Recently, networks have shifted from traditional in-house servers to third-party-managed cloud platforms due to its cost-effectiveness and increased accessibility toward its management. However, the network remains reactive, with less accountability and oversight of its overall security. Several emerging technologies have restructured our approach to the security of cloud networks; one such approach is the zero-trust network architecture (ZTNA), where no entity is implicitly trusted in the network, regardless of its origin or scope of access. The network rewards trusted behaviour and proactively predicts threats based on its users’ behaviour. The zero-trust network architecture is still at a nascent stage, and there are many frameworks and models to follow. The primary focus of this survey is to compare the novel requirement-specific features used by state-of-the-art research models for zero-trust cloud networks. In this manner, the features are categorized across nine parameters into three main types: zero-trust-based cloud network models, frameworks and proofs-of-concept. ZTNA, when wholly realized, enables network administrators to tackle critical issues such as how to inhibit internal and external cyber threats, enhance the visibility of the network, automate the calculation of trust for network entities and orchestrate security for users. The paper further focuses on domain-specific issues plaguing modern cloud computing networks, which leverage choosing and implementing features necessary for future networks and incorporate intelligent security orchestration, automation and response. The paper also discusses challenges associated with cloud platforms and requirements for migrating to zero-trust architecture. Finally, possible future research directions are discussed, wherein new technologies can be incorporated into the ZTA to build robust trust-based enterprise networks deployed in the cloud.

The use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) has been rapidly increasing in both professional and recreational settings, leading to concerns about the safety and security of people and facilities. One area of research that has emerged in response to this concern is the development of detection systems for UAVs. However, many existing systems have limitations, such as detection failures or false detection of other aerial objects, including birds. To address this issue, the development of a standard dataset that provides images of both drones and birds is essential for training accurate and effective detection models. In this context, we present a dataset consisting of images of drones and birds operating in various environments. This dataset will serve as a valuable resource for researchers and developers working on UAV detection and classification systems. The dataset was created using Roboflow software, which enabled us to efficiently edit and manipulate the images using AI-assisted bounding boxes, polygons, and instance segmentation. The software supports a wide range of input and output formats, making it easy to import and export the dataset in different machine learning frameworks. To ensure the highest possible accuracy, we manually segmented each image from edge to edge, providing the YOLO model with detailed and accurate information for training. The dataset includes both training and testing sets, allowing for the evaluation of model performance and accuracy. Our dataset offers several advantages over existing datasets, including the inclusion of both drones and birds, which are commonly misclassified by detection systems. Additionally, the images in our dataset were collected in diverse environments, providing a wide range of scenarios for model training and testing. The presented dataset provides a valuable resource for researchers and developers working on UAV detection and classification systems. The inclusion of both drones and birds, as well as the diverse range of environments and scenarios, makes this dataset a unique and essential tool for training accurate and effective models. We hope that this dataset will contribute to the advancement of UAV detection and classification systems, improving safety and security in both professional and recreational settings.
The Mobile Ad-hoc Network is a self-configuring decentralized network, where the network topology is dynamically modifiable. The IoT (Internet of Things) based Wireless Sensor Network contains more sensors and shares information over the Internet to a cloud server. However, the IoT-based wireless sensor network channel has moderate security is poor compared to MANET and packet loss is increased due to attackers. In IoT, all the sensors forward the detected data frequently to the internet gateway, so the energy saving in the network is low compared to MANET. In this work, the smart environment of IoT, Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) and MANET make a great heterogeneous network in IT Technology; the combination of this heterogeneous network has new challenging issues. In this heterogeneous network, MANET provides a trusted route between the sensor to gateway nodes into the IoT environment using Energy Saving Optimization Techniques [MANET-ESO in IoT]. It saves energy for each node and reduces the economic level. The results of the ns-3 simulation show that the proposed method provides better results in Alive node counts, residual Energy, throughput, packet delivery ratio and routing overhead.

The sixth-generation (6G) communication networks being highly data-intensive and enabled by the Internet of Everything (IoE) are envisaged to find applications in various domains including smart healthcare, smart industry, and gaming. In this article, a novel hybrid 6G-based cybertwin cooperative architecture is studied and an analytical framework for the secrecy outage analysis is presented. The base station (BS) considered utilizes nonorthogonal-multiple-access for content request transmission to the cybertwin host and the server with a direct communication link present between the BS and the server. A wireless link experiencing Nakagami- $m$ fading is considered which is further assisted in the communication network by a wired link which is a power line communication link and experiences Rayleigh fading, for the communication between the cybertwin host and the server. Secrecy error probability expressions are derived for the cybertwin host and the server for the scenario when both the wireless and the wired links are available for communication and only the wireless link is available for communication. Furthermore, the presented analytical results are corroborated with simulation results which demonstrate the optimality of operating the wireless links at lower signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) values. It is observed that for the lower values of Nakagami fading parameter, better secrecy performance is observed with the usage of wired link along with the wireless link, and also the secrecy performance of the cybertwin host and the server is dependent on the system parameters like the fading parameter and the average SNR.

In recent times, the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) is a new loomed technology, which has been deliberated as a promising technology designed for various and broadly connected networks. In an intelligent healthcare system, the framework of IoMT observes the health circumstances of the patients dynamically and responds to backings their needs, which helps detect the symptoms of critical rare body conditions based on the data collected. Metaheuristic algorithms have proven effective, robust, and efficient in deciphering real-world optimization, clustering, forecasting, classification, and other engineering problems. The emergence of extraordinary, very large-scale data being generated from various sources such as the web, sensors, and social media has led the world to the era of big data. Big data poses a new contest to metaheuristic algorithms. So, this research work presents the metaheuristic optimization algorithm for big data analysis in the IoMT using gravitational search optimization algorithm (GSOA) and reflective belief network with convolutional neural networks (DBN-CNNs). Here the data optimization has been carried out using GSOA for the collected input data. The input data were collected for the diabetes prediction with cardiac risk prediction based on the damage in blood vessels and cardiac nerves. Collected data have been classified to predict abnormal and normal diabetes range, and based on this range, the risk for a cardiac attack has been predicted using SVM. The performance analysis is made to reveal that GSOA-DBN_CNN performs well in predicting diseases. The simulation results illustrate that the GSOA-DBN_CNN model used for prediction improves accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, and PSNR.
