Igor Alexandre da Silva Dias, Assistant Professor. Bachelor in Food Engineering, Degree in Food Science and Technology, Master in Food Prevention and Control Systems, from the Polytechnic Institute of Santarém, and PhD in Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, from the University of Évora, is responsible for the Laboratory Unit of the Department of Food Technology, Biotechnology and Nutrition of Agrarian Superior School of Santarém from the Polytechnic Institute of Santarém, with experience in food technology and the development of new products, mainly products of animal origin, food labelling and packaging, development and implementation of food safety management systems, physical-chemical characterisation of food and Environemnt Science .
