Giovanni Sanesi is a full professor at the University of Bari. His research interests include urban forestry, wild fires, fortestry, ecosystems services. Methods and techniques: Remote sensing, questionnaire approach, permanent plots, and multidisciplinary approach. Giovanni Sanesi has studied the role of green spaces in urban settlements for more than 35 years, initially as a consultant and then as a researcher.
