From April 2014 to October 2019, he served as the Dean of the "Giorgio Fuà" School of Economics at Marche Polytechnic University. Since 2006, he has served as a full-time professor of economic statistics at the George Fuà School of Economics and Social Sciences at Marche Polytechnic University in Ancona. Since 2014, Prof. Francesco Chelli has served as the President of the Italian Society for Economics, Demography, and Statistics (SIEDS). Since 2016, he has served as the Vice President of the ISTAO-Adriano Olivetti Institute of Economics and Management.
