I am an Assistant Professor in Faculty of Geodesy and Cartography at Warsaw University and Technology. I'm responsible for lectures and laboratories in the field of photointerpretation (visual methods and computer-assisted thematic interpretation of aerial and satellite images), digital processing of satellite images, Remote Sensing applications, designing and development of Geographic Information Systems, spatial analysis and modelling spatial phenomena. My scientific specialisation focuses on Remote Sensing applications for development of Geographic Information Systems, methods of very high resolution satellite data processing and interpretation (IKONOS, Quick-Bird, GeoEye, WorldView, Pleiades), methods of designing and development of Geographic Information Systems for local and regional governments, methods of spatial analyses and modelling. Since 2013 I was using historical and actual aerial photographs, laser scanning data and cartographic materials to search for mass graves. I was co-operates, among others, with the Museum of Treblinka, Institute of National Remembrance and Rabbinical Commission for Cemeteries.
