Prof. Dr. Lucio Mendes Cabral is currently a Full Professor at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He has a degree in Industrial Pharmaceuticals from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1990), a Master's degree in Medicinal Chemistry from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1993), a PhD in Natural Products Chemistry from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1996) and a postgraduate PhD in Pharmaceutical Technology at Universitá La Sapienza, Rome, Italy. He has experience in the field of Pharmacy, with an emphasis on Pharmaceutical Technology and Health Surveillance, working mainly on the following topics: nanotechnology, pharmaceutical technology, new release systems, new materials, and quality.
