Ji-Hyeon Park currently works at the Center for Quantum Devices (CQD), Northwestern University, and does research in Materials Science, Materials Physics, and Materials Engineering. He received his doctorate from the Research Center for Advanced Materials Development (RCAMD) at Jeonbuk National University (March 2016–September 2016). Ji-Hyeon Park’s current research interests include the following: the growth of heterostructure III-nitride nanowires, quantum dots, nanostructures, thin films, the fabrication of various nanostructure-based devices (LEDs, LD, FET, pn-junction diodes, PD, water splitting, et al.), the growth and fabrication of functional metal oxides (e.g., β-Ga2O3, InGaO, AlO, etc.), thin films for high-power devices, and solar blind photodetectors (MOSFET, HEMT, SBPD etc.).
