Information

My name is Young-Min Kim, and I currently work as an associate professor at Chonnam National University. I earned my Master's degree in applied Bioscience from Hokkaido University, Hokkaido, in 2002. I then pursued a Ph.D. in applied Bioscience at Hokkaido University, which I completed in 2005. Following my Ph.D., I joined a postdoctoral program at the Chonnam National University, and the Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology, where I conducted research on enzyme engineering and solubilizers. In 2014, I transitioned to my current position as a professor at Chonnam National University, where I lead a team of graduate students in developing new solubilizers for insoluble functional compounds. My current research interests include enzyme engineering, bio-transformation, and solubilizers.
