PhD in Chemical Engineering and Professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of Cadiz (SPAIN). He has worked in the extraction and fractionation with supercritical fluids of bioactive compounds from different plant matrices and supercritical impregnation of different polymers. He has been responsible for several research projects and collaboration projects with companies in different fields such as food, in the production of food additives and active packaging, and Biomedicine, in the generation of pharmacy active endoprostheses, in all the cases using the supercritical technology.
