Biography
Xinming Tang earned his M.S. in land administration from the Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC), Enschede, The Netherlands, in 1998, and a doctorate in geoinformation science and computer application from the University of Twente, Enschede, in 2004. He is currently the Academic Deputy Director of the Land Satellite Remote Sensing Application Center, Ministry of Natural Resources, Beijing, China. His scientific interests are spatial information science and technology, including remote sensing, geographic information systems and their integration.
