Dr. Ofelia Cornelia Corbu was Research Laboratory Director (2007-2019) within the Faculty of Construction, Technical University of Cluj-Napoca. He obtained his Ph.D. in the field of Civil Engineering at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca in 2011. He obtained the title of Senior Scientific Researcher in 2018, recognized at the university and research center level. He is a scientific researcher with a PhD in Civil Engineering with experience in practical and didactic activity, with achievements in the field of ecological construction materials (having 4 patents) that lead to the reduction of CO2 by using recycled waste with different roles in concrete/mortar/geopolymeric concrete. He has a Post-doctorate and two internships at UK universities. her interests are in the fields of recycling and the utilization of waste in eco-friendly composites.
