Associate professor at the University of Lleida, my research focuses on Precision Agriculture, in areas such as spatial data analysis, optimized sampling methods and the use of crop and soil sensors. Recent sensors are mobile terrestrial laser scanners (MTLSs) to characterize canopy in tree crops. Sampling schemes supported by ancillary remote information are used to estimate yield and quality parameters in fruit orchards. I usually apply multivariate statistical methods and geostatistics to interpret agricultural data at different spatial and temporal scales.
