Cheng-Wen Lin is a professor at the Department of Medical Laboratory Science and Biotechnology of China Medical University, Taiwan. He received his PhD from National Tsing-Hua University, Taiwan, and is an expert in molecular virology. His research focuses on the pathogenesis and antivirals of (re)emerging viruses, particularly flaviviruses and coronaviruses. His molecular biology study combines topics from a wide range of disciplines, such as apoptosis, unfolded protein responses, and reactive oxygen species.
