With the goal of accomplish the ubiquitous intelligence in social life, Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) are getting growing attentions of researchers and engineers. However, the complexity of computing and physical dynamics bring a lot of challenges in the development of CPS, such as integration of heterogeneous physical devices, system verification, security assurance, and so on. A general or unified architecture plays an important part in the process of CPS design. In this paper, we review the current and previous works of CPS architecture, and introduce the main challenges and techniques of architecture development : real-time control, security assurance, integration mechanism. Then we propose a general CPS architecture based on Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), the main advantage of this proposed architecture is the integration flexibility of services and components. At the end, we introduce the typical applications of CPS, and suggest the future research areas.

Stroke represents a medical emergency and can lead to the development of movement disorders such as abnormal muscle tone, limited range of motion, or abnormalities in coordination and balance. In order to help stroke patients recover as soon as possible, rehabilitation training methods employ various movement modes such as ordinary movements and joint reactions to induce active reactions in the limbs and gradually restore normal functions. Rehabilitation effect evaluation can help physicians understand the rehabilitation needs of different patients, determine effective treatment methods and strategies, and improve treatment efficiency. In order to achieve real-time and accuracy of action detection, this article uses Mediapipe’s action detection algorithm and proposes a model based on MPL-CNN. Mediapipe can be used to identify key point features of the patient’s upper limbs and simultaneously identify key point features of the hand. In order to detect the effect of rehabilitation training for upper limb movement disorders, LSTM and CNN are combined to form a new LSTM-CNN model, which is used to identify the action features of upper limb rehabilitation training extracted by Medipipe. The MPL-CNN model can effectively identify the accuracy of rehabilitation movements during upper limb rehabilitation training for stroke patients. In order to ensure the scientific validity and unified standards of rehabilitation training movements, this article employs the postures in the Fugl-Meyer Upper Limb Rehabilitation Training Functional Assessment Form (FMA) and establishes an FMA upper limb rehabilitation data set for experimental verification. Experimental results show that in each stage of the Fugl-Meyer upper limb rehabilitation training evaluation effect detection, the MPL-CNN-based method’s recognition accuracy of upper limb rehabilitation training actions reached 95%. At the same time, the average accuracy rate of various upper limb rehabilitation training actions reaches 97.54%. This shows that the model is highly robust across different action categories and proves that the MPL-CNN model is an effective and feasible solution. This method based on MPL-CNN can provide a high-precision detection method for the evaluation of rehabilitation effects of upper limb movement disorders after stroke, helping clinicians in evaluating the patient’s rehabilitation progress and adjusting the rehabilitation plan based on the evaluation results. This will help improve the personalization and precision of rehabilitation treatment and promote patient recovery.

With the widespread popularity of online social media, people have come to increasingly rely on it as an information and news source. However, the growing spread of fake news on the Internet has become a serious threat to cyberspace and society at large. Although a series of previous works have proposed various methods for the detection of fake news, most of these methods focus on single-domain fake-news detection, resulting in poor detection performance when considering real-world fake news with diverse news topics. Furthermore, any news content may belong to multiple domains. Therefore, detecting multi-domain fake news remains a challenging problem. In this study, we propose a multi-domain fake-news detection framework based on a mixture-of-experts model. The input text is fed to BertTokenizer and embeddings are obtained by jointly calling CLIP to obtain the fusion features. This avoids the introduction of noise and redundant features during feature fusion. We also propose a collaboration module, in which a sentiment module is used to analyze the inherent sentimental information of the text, and sentence-level and domain embeddings are used to form the collaboration module. This module can adaptively determine the weights of the expert models. Finally, the mixture-of-experts model, composed of TextCNN, is used to learn the features and construct a high-performance fake-news detection model. We conduct extensive experiments on the Weibo21 dataset, the results of which indicate that our multi-domain methods perform well, in comparison with baseline methods, on the Weibo21 dataset. Our proposed framework presents greatly improved multi-domain fake-news detection performance.

Diabetes is caused by insulin deficiency or impaired biological action, and long-term hyperglycemia leads to a variety of tissue damage and dysfunction. Therefore, the early prediction of diabetes and timely intervention and treatment are crucial. This paper proposes a robust framework for the prediction and diagnosis of type 2 diabetes (T2DM) to aid in diabetes applications in clinical diagnosis. The data-preprocessing stage includes steps such as outlier removal, missing value filling, data standardization, and assigning class weights to ensure the quality and consistency of the data, thereby improving the performance and stability of the model. This experiment used the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) dataset and the publicly available PIMA Indian dataset (PID). For T2DM classification, we designed a convolutional neural network (CNN) and proposed a novel attention-oriented convolutional neural network (SECNN) through the channel attention mechanism. To optimize the hyperparameters of the model, we used grid search and K-fold cross-validation methods. In addition, we also comparatively analyzed various machine learning (ML) models such as support vector machine (SVM), logistic regression (LR), decision tree (DT), random forest (RF), and artificial neural network (ANN). Finally, we evaluated the performance of the model using performance evaluation metrics such as precision, recall, F1-Score, accuracy, and AUC. Experimental results show that the SECNN model has an accuracy of 94.12% on the NHANES dataset and an accuracy of 89.47% on the PIMA Indian dataset. SECNN models and CNN models show significant improvements in diabetes prediction performance compared to traditional ML models. The comparative analysis of the SECNN model and the CNN model has significantly improved performance, further verifying the advantages of introducing the channel attention mechanism. The robust diabetes prediction framework proposed in this article establishes an effective foundation for diabetes diagnosis and prediction, and has a positive impact on the development of health management and medical industries.

With the increasing research of deep learning in the EEG field, it becomes more and more important to fully extract the characteristics of EEG signals. Traditional EEG signal classification prediction neither considers the topological structure between the electrodes of the signal collection device nor the data structure of the Euclidean space to accurately reflect the interaction between signals. Graph neural networks can effectively extract features of non-Euclidean spatial data. Therefore, this paper proposes a feature selection method for epilepsy EEG classification based on graph convolutional neural networks (GCNs) and long short-term memory (LSTM) cells. While enriching the input of LSTM, it also makes full use of the information hidden in the EEG signals. In the automatic detection of epileptic seizures based on neural networks, due to the strong non-stationarity and large background noise of the EEG signal, the analysis and processing of the EEG signal has always been a challenging research. Therefore, experiments were conducted using the preprocessed Boston Children’s Hospital epilepsy EEG dataset, and input it into the GCN-LSTM model for deep feature extraction. The GCN network built by the graph convolution layer learns spatial features, then LSTM extracts sequence information, and the final prediction is performed by fully connected and softmax layers. The introduced method has been experimentally proven to be effective in improving the accuracy of epileptic EEG seizure detection. Experimental results show that the average accuracy of binary classification on the CHB-MIT dataset is 99.39%, and the average accuracy of ternary classification is 98.69%.

With the wide application of social media, public opinion analysis in social networks has been unable to be met through text alone because the existing public opinion information includes data information of various modalities, such as voice, text, and facial expressions. Therefore multi-modal emotion analysis is the current focus of public opinion analysis. In addition, multi-modal emotion recognition of speech is an important factor restricting the multi-modal emotion analysis. In this paper, the emotion feature retrieval method for speech is firstly explored and the processing method of sample disequilibrium data is then analyzed. By comparing and studying the different feature fusion methods of text and speech, respectively, the multi-modal feature fusion method for sample disequilibrium data is proposed to realize multi-modal emotion recognition. Experiments are performed using two publicly available datasets (IEMOCAP and MELD), which shows that processing multi-modality data through this method can obtain good fine-grained emotion recognition results, laying a foundation for subsequent social public opinion analysis.
