Ana Angélica Feregrino-Pérez received her Ph.D. in Food
Science and Technology from the Autonomous University of Querétaro. She is a
founding member of the biotechnology cluster in Querétaro. She is part of the
academic core of the Biosystems Engineering Postgraduate Program. Her research
lines are secondary metabolites, the generation of added value, the reuse of waste in
production chains and the interaction of nanomaterials with the production of secondary
metabolites in plants.
