Dr. Tianning Su is a Postdoctoral Research Staff Member at the Climate Analysis Group, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, United States. He received his Ph.D. in Atmospheric Sciences in 2021 from the University of Maryland, College Park. His research is rooted in the study of convection within the planetary boundary layer (PBL). Employing remote sensing technologies, alongside multi-scale modeling tools and deep learning methodologies, he has developed several interconnected research topics for studying the cloud/PBL/surface system. In addition, he is a Member of the American Geophysical Union and the American Meteorological Society, a Panelist at the NASA ROSES Panel review, and a Reviewer for proposals of NASA and NSF.
