Background: Multiphoton microscopy (MPM) offers a feasible approach for the biopsy in clinical medicine, but it has not been used in clinical applications due to the lack of efficient image processing methods, especially the automatic segmentation technology. Segmentation technology is still one of the most challenging assignments of the MPM imaging technique. Methods: The MPM imaging segmentation model based on deep learning is one of the most effective methods to address this problem. In this paper, the practicability of using a convolutional neural network (CNN) model to segment the MPM image of skin cells in vivo was explored. A set of MPM in vivo skin cells images with a resolution of 128×128 was successfully segmented under the Python environment with TensorFlow. A novel deep-learning segmentation model named Dense-UNet was proposed. The Dense-UNet, which is based on U-net structure, employed the dense concatenation to deepen the depth of the network architecture and achieve feature reuse. This model included four expansion modules (each module consisted of four down-sampling layers) to extract features. Results: Sixty training images were taken from the dorsal forearm using a femtosecond Ti:Sa laser running at 735 nm. The resolution of the images is 128×128 pixels. Experimental results confirmed that the accuracy of Dense-UNet (92.54%) was higher than that of U-Net (88.59%), with a significantly lower loss value of 0.1681. The 90.60% Dice coefficient value of Dense-UNet outperformed U-Net by 11.07%. The F1-Score of Dense-UNet, U-Net, and Seg-Net was 93.35%, 90.02%, and 85.04%, respectively. Conclusions: The deepened down-sampling path improved the ability of the model to capture cellular fined-detailed boundary features, while the symmetrical up-sampling path provided a more accurate location based on the test result. These results were the first time that the segmentation of MPM in vivo images had been adopted by introducing a deep CNN to bridge this gap in Dense-UNet technology. Dense-UNet has reached ultramodern performance for MPM images, especially for in vivo images with low resolution. This implementation supplies an automatic segmentation model based on deep learning for high-precision segmentation of MPM images in vivo.

Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-satellite communication has drawn dramatic attention for its potential to build the integrated space-air-ground network and the seamless widearea coverage. A key challenge to UAV-satellite communication is its unstable beam pointing due to the UAV navigation, which is a typical SatCom on-the-move scenario. In this paper, we propose a blind beam tracking approach for Ka-band UAVsatellite communication system, where UAV is equipped with a hybrid large-scale antenna array. The effects of UAV navigation are firstly released through the mechanical adjustment, which could approximately point the beam towards the target satellite through beam stabilization and dynamic isolation. Specially, the attitude information for mechanical adjustment can be realtimely derived from data fusion of low-cost sensors. Then, the precision of beam pointing is blindly refined through electrically adjusting the weight of the massive antennas, where an array structure based simultaneous perturbation algorithm is designed. Simulation results are provided to demonstrate the superiority of the proposed method over the existing ones.

Collaborative inference in mobile edge computing (MEC) enables mobile devices to offload the computation tasks for the computation-intensive perception services, and the inference policy determines the inference latency and energy consumption. The optimal inference policy depends on the inference performance model of deep learning, the data generation model and the network model that are rarely known by mobile devices in time. In this paper, we propose a multi-agent reinforcement learning (RL) based energy-efficient MEC collaborative inference scheme, which enables each mobile device to choose both the partition point of deep learning and the collaborative edge of each mobile device based on the image quantity, the channel conditions and the previous inference performance. A learning experience exchange mechanism exploits the Q-values of the neighboring mobile devices to accelerate the inference policy optimization with less energy consumption. We also provide a deep multi-agent RL based inference scheme to accelerate learning for large-scale MEC networks, in which an actor network yields the collaborative inference policy probability distribution and a critic network guides the weight update of the actor network to enhance sample efficiency. We provide the inference performance bound and analyze the computational complexity. Both simulation and experimental results show that our proposed schemes reduce the inference latency and save the MEC energy consumption.

Indoor positioning system based on visible light communication and location fingerprinting can achieve cm-level positioning accuracy, which has become an important candidate for high precision positioning. However, in the case of non-uniform and low-density location fingerprinting distribution, it will still lead to large errors and poor robustness. To solve this problem, an accurate visible light positioning (VLP) method based on location fingerprinting and meta-heuristic is proposed, and all possible cases of uneven distribution of location fingerprinting are considered by introducing the random selection rate. The effectiveness of the proposed VLP method is compared with other six VLP methods based on location fingerprinting. Simulation results show that when the signal-to-noise ratio is 20 dB, the average positioning error of the proposed VLP method is 0.51 cm, which is at least 80.23% lower than the other six VLP methods. Experimental results show that when the random selection rate is 50%, the average positioning error of the proposed VLP method is 3.11 cm, which is at least 41.87% lower than the other six VLP methods. The proposed VLP method can be applied to positioning scenarios with different location fingerprinting distributions. The research results can provide a new research idea for the fingerprinting weight calculation method.

In this paper, we investigate secure transmission in active reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS)-assisted integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) systems. The dual-function base station communicates with the legitimate user and detects the sensing target simultaneously via active RIS, while the communication signal is intercepted by a potential eavesdropper (Eve). To achieve secure transmission, a novel successive interference cancellation scheme is proposed, where the sensing signal can disrupt the potential eavesdropping while keeping the legitimate user link intact. Then, the secure rate maximization problem is proposed, where the active beamforming of the RIS, the legitimate user's transmit beamforming, the Eve's transmit beamforming, and the radar receive beamforming are jointly optimized. However, the secure rate expression is non-convex, an iteration optimization algorithm based on majorization-minimization method and semi-definite programming are proposed to decompose the original problem into three sub-problems. Simulation results illustrate that the secrecy performance of the proposed scheme outperforms the passive RIS-assisted ISAC systems and the traditional cellular networks aided by active RIS.

Since deep convolutional neural network (CNN) has achieved excellent results in single image super-resolution (SISR), an increasing number of methods based on CNN have been proposed. Most CNN-based methods are devoted to finding mapping based on pixel intensity while ignoring the importance of frequency information, which can reflect semantic information of images on different bands. This leads to less effectiveness in the reconstruction of high-frequency details. To address this problem, we propose a novel CNN-based super-resolution method named joint wavelet sub-bands guided network (JWSGN). We separate the different frequency information of the image by the WT and then recover this information by a multi-branch network. To recover finer edge details, we propose an edge extraction module, which estimates an edge feature map by using the similarity of all high-frequency sub-bands and then corrects the high-frequency features recovered from each branch by exploiting the edge feature map. Furthermore, we use the complementary relationship between different frequencies to calibrate the high-frequency sub-bands. Finally, the high-resolution image is obtained by inverse wavelet transform. Both qualitative and quantitative experiments show that our method performs excellent performance with the guidance of the edge extraction module.
