Dr. Hui-Hsuan Lin is a professor in the Department of Medical Laboratory and Biotechnology at Chung Shan Medical University in Taiwan. My academic expertise is in cancer biochemistry, disease chemoprevention, and cell signaling. The main research includes: 1. Research on the anti-cancer, anti-atherosclerotic, hypoglycemic , hepato- and kidney-protective effects of plant extracts and phytochemicals; 2. Development of disease chemoprevention agents and health foods; 3. Research on the mechanism of action of anti-cancer drugs and promotion of cancer cell death; 4. Research on signal transduction of cell cycle, apoptosis, autophagy, and metastasis, etc.; 5. Target-molecular research on anti-cancer drugs and metabolic syndrome. In recent years, I have participated in the Health Food Society of Taiwan, Toxicology Society of Taiwan, and The Chinese Society of Cell and Molecular Biology, and obtained an Award for Special Talent Researchers, Ministry of Science and Technology from 2019 to 2021.
