Associate Professor Lisa Lobry de Bruyn is a researcher and educator in the School of Environmental and Rural Sciences at the University of New England, Armidale, New South Wales, Australia. For over 30 years, she has researched the intersection between biophysical soil processes and farmer management of soil condition. Her recent research focuses on farmers' understanding of soil health and soil information-seeking behaviours that will improve how we share soil information and build genuine partnerships with land managers. In the future, such research will improve the monitoring of land conditions for sustainable land management and soil use.
