Science Foundation of China, a Changjiang Scholar Distinguished Professor, a
recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, and a
leading scientist selected for the National Ten Thousand Talents Program. He
received his Ph.D. degree in Geological Engineering from the Institute of
Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has led several
national research projects, including NSFC Major Programs, the National Science
Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, and NSFC major research-instrument
development projects. He has published more than 200 academic papers, including
