Langping Li is an associate professor at the State Key Laboratory of Resources and Environmental Information System, the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He received his B.Sc. in Geography and M.Sc. in Physical Geography from Nanjing
University in 2007 and 2010, respectively, and completed his Ph.D. studies in Cartography and GIS at the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2015. His current research topics focus on applying geoinformatics to studying geological disasters.
