Cristina Colarossi graduated from the Faculty of Medicine University of Rome “La Sapienza” (magna cum laude) in 1997, was a Residency in Anatomic Pathology, Department of Experimental Medicine and Pathology, University of Rome “La Sapienza” (magna cum laude) from 1998 to 2003, and obtained her Ph.D. in Experimental Medicine at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” in 2008. She was a Research Fellow at the Department of Pathology and Cell Biology, at the New York University Medical Center, New York from 2000 to 2003, a Visiting Fellow at the Department of Pathology, Columbia University, New York in August 2004, and an Attending Pathologist at Sant’Andrea Hospital, University of Rome “La Sapienza” from 2004 to 2007. She has been an Attending Pathologist at the Department of Experimental Oncology, Mediterranean Institute of Oncology, Catania, Italy since 2008.
