Sofia Agostinelli is a civil engineer. She holds a PhD in Energy and Environment from Sapienza University of Rome. She is involved in research activities and participates in national and international research projects on the digital and energy transition in the construction industry. She collaborates with the CITERA Research Center in digital management of building processes through systems based on Digital Twins that aim to improve maintenance processes and the energy-environmental performance of buildings and infrastructures. From 2019 to 2021, she was a contract lecturer in Project Management at the Faculty of Architecture. She is involved in teaching activities in Masters and International High-Level Training Programs and, since 2022, she has been the technical-scientific coordinator of the Second Level Master's in Construction Digital Twin & Artificial Intelligence at Sapienza University of Rome.
