Degree in Agronomy from the Federal University of Uberlândia (1991), a Master's in Agronomy (Phytotechnics) from the Federal University of Lavras (1993) and a PhD in Agronomy (Phytotechnics) from the Federal University of Lavras (1995). Full Professor and Director of Institutional Evaluation at the Federal University of Uberlândia and evaluator at INEP/MEC (Institutions, Courses and ARCU-SUL). He works in the area of Phytotechnics, with emphasis on horticulture, tissue culture and medicinal aromatic plants, working mainly on the following topics: management and cultural practices; micropropagation; fertilization and hydroponics.
