Dr. Zorica Knežević-Jugović (ORCID iD 0000-0003-3009-1698), a professor at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy at the University of Belgrade, has over 25 years of experience in biochemical engineering research focused on bioprocessing and enzyme technology, enzymatic transformations of biomolecules, protein chemistry, and chemistry and fate of bioactive food constituents. She has published eight international book chapters and 119 papers in SCI journals and has been cited 1566 times (excluded self-citations) with an h-index of 23, mainly from the area of biocatalysis and enzyme technology. She has more than 125 conference proceedings, several patents (two awarded), 3 technical solutions, a monographic book, and 2 university books. She has experience in project management as a PI in 9 international and national projects and participation in a number of research projects looking to advance the state of the art in the utilization of biomass for the production of bio-based products.
