Radivoje Prodanović is a full professor at the Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade, Serbia. He completed his Ph.D. in Chemistry and M.Sc. in Chemistry at the University of Belgrade. His research interests include bioinformatics, high-throughput screening (FACS), directed evolution and protein engineering, nonaqueous enzymology, the application of enzymes in organic synthesis, protein purification, immobilisation and chemical modification of enzymes, and hydrogels. He received the Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship for the project entitled "Directed evolution of glucose oxidase for application in miniature biofuel cell devices", School of Engineering and Science, Jacobs University Bremen in 2007; Fulbright fellowship for the project "Ultrahigh throughput screening system in drop-based microfluidics for directed evolution of glucose oxidase", Harvard University, Boston, USA in 2012; and Institute of Advanced Studies Visiting Fellowship at Loughborough University, Leicestershire, UK in 2019. He has 77 publications with 1795 citations and an h-index of 22 (Scopus, 25 December 2023).
