Andrei Stan received his B.S. degree in Computer Engineering in 2002, followed by an M.Sc. degree in Advanced Computer Architecture in 2003, and a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering in 2012, all from the "Gheorghe Asachi" Technical University of lasi, Romania. He is currently a faculty member in the Department of Computer Engineering and actively contributes to both teaching and research in the fields of computer systems and embedded technologies. Dr. Stan's primary research interests lie at the intersection of Computer Architecture, Embedded Systems, with a particular emphasis on the design and simulation of complex computing systems. His work explores modern architectures for domain-specific computing, hardware-software co-design methodologies, and system-level modeling. He has been involved in various research and development projects, both academic and industry-oriented, focusing on the early validation of embedded architectures and the development of customized processing solutions for real-time and safety-critical applications.
