Ben Chung-Lap Chan received his B.Sc. in Applied Biology from Hong Kong Baptist University in 1995, an M.Sc. in Computing from the City University of Hong Kong in 1999, and a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2004. He is an associate research fellow at the Institute of Chinese Medicine, Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research interests mainly focus on immunomodulation; Chinese herbal medicine; Innate Immunity; Inflammation; macrophage; immunobiology; cytokine biology; inflammatory diseases; monocyte culture; and macrophage cell culture.
