Chun-Kwok Wong obtained his Ph.D. degree in Immunology from Department of Biochemistry, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) in 1993. This was followed by postdoctoral appointments at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School (1994–1997). He is currently a Professor at the Department of Chemical Pathology, Director of the
Institute of Chinese Medicine and Assistant Director of the State Key Laboratory of Research on Bioactivities and Clinical Applications of Medicinal Plants, CUHK. His research interests mainly focus on eosinophils, mast cells, allergic asthma, allergic rhinitis, cytokines, signal transduction molecules, inflammation, and Chinese herbal medicine.
