About Me
Dr. Andreea Kui (AK) DMD PhD is an Associate Profesor at the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry and Dental Materials, at Iuliu Hatieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Cluj Napoca, Romania. She graduated in 2008 from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Iuliu Hatieganu, Cluj Napoca. In 2011, she became a specialist in oral surgery, and during her PhD training (2011–2015), she obtained her degree in prosthetic dentistry. She defended her PhD thesis in 2015: “The Use of Modern Dental Materials in Order to Increase the Success of Endodontic Surgery in Conservative Therapy”. Since 2021, she has been a senior specialist in prosthetic dentistry. She has published 27 articles in the medical field, with an h-index of 5 (Scopus), 32 book chapters, and 5 books. Her research interests include prosthodontics, oral surgery, removable prosthodontics, dentistry and gerontology, and dental materials for prosthodontics (PMMA, zirconia, and ceramics).
