Prof. Congo Tak-Shing Ching obtained his BSc (Hons) in Prosthetics and Orthotics with first-class honors from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) in 1999 and received his MPhil in Biomedical Engineering from PolyU in 2002. He went on to gain a PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK, in 2005. He is currently serving as a Professor at the Graduate Institute of Biomedical Engineering, National Chung Hsing University, Taiwan. His main interests in research are in the areas of biomedical instrumentation design, biosensors, tissue bioimpedance, biomedical electronics, biomedical optoelectronic, non-invasive medical diagnostics, and assistive technology.
