Sergey graduated from National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (Moscow Engineering Physics Institute) in 2009 and received PhD in materials science and engineering from the University of Aveiro in 2015. Currently holding a position of Research Scientist at Skoltech, Sergey has been gaining experience in the study of materials for electrochemical and photoelectrochemical energy conversion and storage. In particular, he is an expert in the development of scanning probe microscopy to probe structural, electronic and chemical properties at the nanoscale.
