Professor Zulfiqar A. Khan leads the NanoCorr, Energy and Modeling (NCEM) research group at Bournemouth University, UK. He has undertaken multidisciplinary research on wear-corrosion synergy, nano-coatings incorporating tribo-corrosion issues, and low-to-zero-carbon energy technologies. In addition to a significant volume of journal publications, he has been granted five commercial patents and nine prestigious awards, including the Albert Nelson’s Life Time Achievement Award in Engineering and the Distinguished Researcher in Tribology Award, as well as the Venus International Science and Technology Award in 2022.
