Dr. Yun-Hsuan Chen obtained her bachelor’s degree in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering of National Tsing Hua University, Hsinchu, Taiwan. She was awarded an Erasmus Mundus scholarship to pursue her joint master’s degree in molecular nano- and bio-photonics for telecommunications and biotechnologies (Monabiphot) program at ENS Cachan, Paris, France, in collaboration with Complutense University of Madrid, Spain, and Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands. She received her PhD in electrical engineering from IMEC, University of Leuven, Belgium, in 2016. After this, she completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the Center of Excellence in Biomedical Research on Advanced Integrated-on-Chips Neurotechnologies (CenBRAIN), in 2021. Presently, she is a research assistant professor in CenBRAIN Labs, leading research activities related to stroke prediction.
