Biography
Xiaoxiao Kong (Member, IEEE), was born in Shanxi, China, in 1993. He received the B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Tianjin University in 2015 and 2020, respectively. He is currently an Associate Researcher at the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation, Tianjin University. His main research interests are insulation design of dry-type power equipment and dielectric properties of epoxy-based composites. He has authored 36 papers on journals indexed by SCI, and authorized 15 patents. He has led or participated 6 projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and other government departments and enterprises. He serves as a youth editorial board of “insulating materials” journal and "Chinese Journal of Electrical Engineering" journal. He has been awarded the Tianjin Science and Technology Progress Award.
