Dr. Dennis Jones is an Associate Research Professor at the Department of Wood Science and Engineering, Luleå University of Technology (LTU), in Sweden. He recently published a new book on wood modification with other researchers. He is also a member of the Communications Committee of the IRG (the International Research Group on Wood Protection). He has been awarded the Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals, and Mining (FIMMM), Recognition of Activities in Wood Science and Technology, Institute of Materials, Minerals, and Mining (IOM3). Moreover, he has published several books, chapters, and scientific papers in various journals. His expertise includes wood modification, wood chemistry, wood coatings, wood adhesives, and biobased composites.
