Prof. Dr. Ákos Mesterházy completed his Ph.D. at the age of 34 from the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (HAS) (1979). He was elected as a full member of the HAS in 2013. He is now a research professor at the Cereal Research non-profit Ltd. He is also a professor at the Department of the Engineering College of the University of Szeged and the University of Life Sciences in Gödöllő (MATE). He published more than 80 papers in highly reputed International Journals with more than 4000 citations (WoS). He is serving as an editorial board member of repute for two journals.
