Associate Professor at the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology at the State University of Londrina (Brazil), acting as a teacher and supervisor in the Master's and PhD Program in Biotechnology at the same institution. PhD in Food Science (2002) by the State University of Londrina, with experience in research and development of biodegradable materials and nanomaterials from renewable sources, as well as in the use of lignocellulosic residues from the agribusiness in obtaining cellulose, nanocellulose and derivatives. Recipient of Brazilian Research Council (CNPq) productivity scholarship for scientific productivity since 2016.
