Qiuzhao Zhang is a Professor at China University of Mining and Technology, a Visiting Scholar at the University of Nottingham, UK, and the Director of the Mining University Center of Sino-British Joint Research Center for Geoinformation Engineering (JRCGIE). He received his Bachelor’s degree in Surveying and Mapping Engineering from the China University of Mining and Technology (CUMT) in 2007, Master’s degree in Geodesy and Surveying Engineering from CUMT in 2009, and Ph.D. degree in Geodesy and Surveying Engineering from CUMT in 2013. He is a member of the Engineering Surveying Branch of China, Society of Surveying, Mapping, and Geoinformation, a member of Mine Surveying
Committee, a member of Underground Pipeline Network Working Committee, a member of the Eighth Cultivation Program of China University of Mining and Technology, a member of Young Academic Leaders of the university, and a member of Outstanding Young Backbone Teachers of the university. He is also a selected author of the top academic papers (F5000) of China’s top science and technology journals, guest editor-in-chief/editor of SCI journals “Journal of Sensors”, “Electronics”, and “Applied Science”, and a member of the youth editorial board of “Navigation, Positioning and Timing”. He has long been engaged in the research of multi-source sensor fusion, intelligent monitoring of structural health, and mine and underground measurement.
