IOANNIS MAVRIDIS is a Professor of Information Security (Dept. of Applied Informatics, University of Macedonia, Greece) and the Director of the Multimedia, Security and Networking laboratory. He serves as Area Editor of Array (Elsevier). He is the author and co-author of 3 books on information security. He has participated as a principal investigator and researcher in international and national funded research and development (R&D) projects. His current research interests include the areas of cyber threat intelligence, cybersecurity education, risk management, access control, digital forensics, and security economics.
