Prof. Hadi Larijani received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Heriot-Watt Univ. Edinburgh, UK, in 2006. He is the director of the Smart Technology Research Centre and a professor of computer networks and intelligent systems in the Department of Cyber Security and Networks in the School of Computing, Engineering and the Built Environment at Glasgow Caledonian University. His research interests include AI and ML, wireless communications, sensors, intelligent systems, performance evaluation of computer systems and networks, computer network simulation, software engineering, LTE, cognitive radio, building energy management systems, and intelligent software agents.
