Prof. Dr. Liu Yu

Yu Liu received the B.Eng in electronic engineering from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China in 1998. During 1998-2000, he is an electronic engineer of Nantian Electronics Information Corp, Shenzhen, China. In 2000, he backed to Tianjin University and received M.Eng in information and communication engineering and the Ph.D. degree in signal and information processing from the same University in 2002 and 2005 respectively. Currently, he is a professor with School of Microelectronics, Tianjin University. During 2011-2012, Dr. Liu is a visiting fellow with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Princeton University, Princeton, NJ, U.S. His research interests include signal/video processing, medical signal processing, machine learning, compressed sensing and indoor positioning system.
