Most of the existing virtual scenarios built for the digital protection of Chinese classical private gardens are too modern in expression style to show the aesthetic significance of their historical period. Considering the aesthetic commonality between traditional Chinese landscape paintings and classical private gardens and referring to image style transfer, here, a deep neural network was proposed to transfer the aesthetic style from landscape paintings to the virtual scenario of classical private gardens. The network consisted of two parts: style prediction and style transfer. The style prediction network was used to obtain style representation from style paintings, and the style transfer network was used to transfer style representation to the content scenario. The pre-trained network was then embedded into the scenario rendering pipeline and combined with the screen post-processing method to realise the stylised expression of the virtual scenario. To verify the feasibility of this methodology, a virtual scenario of the Humble Administrator’s Garden was used as the content scenario and five garden landscape paintings from different time periods and painting styles were selected for the case study. The results demonstrated that this methodology could effectively achieve the aesthetic style transfer of a virtual scenario.
Scenes are important carriers of cultural expression. Cultural landscapes reveal specific cultural connotations through various scenes, and people understand and give things cultural connotations through scenes. In recent years, new techniques for visualizing cultural landscape heritage have been made possible by the advent of mapping and geographic information technology. The Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal’s culture is a “living” cultural legacy. As one of the key links in the canal’s cultural chain, Qingjiangpu is crucial to reproducing its cultural landscape. This paper first discusses the relationship between scene theory and the cultural landscape. Starting from the five elements of scene theory, through the collection of online text data and the corresponding data obtained from questionnaire research, the paper analyzed the scene constructed by the cultural landscape and the urban spirituality embodied by the scene. Through the deep excavation of cultural landscape and its historical context, the theoretical framework of “node-neighbor-city” cultural landscape reproduction is proposed. Taking the ancient city of Qingjiangpu as an example, the cultural landscape has been reproduced at different scales and in different dimensions through various technical means. This study can provide a theoretical basis and practical reference for the research of cultural landscape reproduction.

The logistics industry plays a very important role in the operation of modern cities. Meanwhile, the development of logistics industry has derived various problems that are urgent to be solved, such as the safety of logistics products. This paper combines the study of logistics industry traceability and logistics centre environment safety supervision with virtual reality technology, creates an interactive logistics centre information integration system. The proposed system utilizes the immerse characteristic of virtual reality, to simulate the real logistics centre scene distinctly, which can make operation staff conduct safety supervision training at any time without regional restrictions. On the one hand, a large number of sensor data can be used to simulate a variety of disaster emergency situations. On the other hand, collecting personnel operation data, to analyse the improper operation, which can improve the training efficiency greatly.

Tourism cultural image is vital for conveying the cultural essence of a destination, enhancing tourists’ cultural understanding and engagement. However, traditional tourism cultural maps often face challenges in clearly defining cultural themes and effectively communicating cultural and emotional information to users. To address these issues, we propose an improved information transmission model for a tourism cultural map to optimize the communication pathway between cartographers and map users. Based on this model, we introduce a method for mining and visualizing tourism cultural image using tourist attractions as the focal points. Then, based on the visualization results, we discuss the selection of map expression objects and the framework of map visualization design. Finally, we give an implementation process of a tourism cultural map of tourist attractions based on mining and visualization of tourism cultural image. To verify the method’s feasibility, we developed a mobile interactive tourism cultural map application using Xuanwu Lake in Nanjing, China, as an example. The results demonstrate the method’s effectiveness in tourism cultural image mining and visualization, provide solutions to the problems of traditional tourism cultural maps, and help tourists’ understanding of the culture of tourist attractions.
