Haiyang Zhang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biological Science and Engineering, University of Science and Technology Beijing, China. He earned a BS in Information and Computational Science (2007) and a PhD in Biochemical Engineering (2015) from Beijing University of Chemical Technology, China. He worked as a visiting PhD student in computational systems biology in the Department of Cell and Molecular Biology, Uppsala University (2010–2012), and as a postdoctoral fellow in chemistry at the School of Chemistry and Biological Engineering, University of Science and Technology Beijing (2015–2017). His research interests focus on computational molecular biology, including biomolecular simulation, bioinformatics, and computer-aided drug design.
