Dr. George Pantazopoulos

George A. Pantazopoulos graduated from Chemical Engineering Department of National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) with a specialization in Materials Science. He obtained a Ph.D. from the Mechanical Engineering Department of NTUA in the field of Manufacturing Technology and Processing of Advanced Materials in 1999. He served as Quality Control Engineer and Manager in Metal Industry Sectors in Greece. Presently, he is a senior research project leader, Quality and Technology Manager at ELKEME R&D Centre of Viohalco Group of Companies. His principal scientific research interests are focused in the field of failure and fracture analysis, materials processing, mechanical testing and tribology. He is an author of numerous papers in the above area and a Subject Editor/Editorial Board Member for Journals in the field of materials and failure analysis.
