Dr. Iosif Hulka is a scientific researcher at the Research Institute for Renewable Energy (ICER) at Politehnica University, Timișoara, Romania. He earned his Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Industrial Design Engineering from the same university in 2009, and he completed his PhD in Materials Science in 2013. He undertook a research internship in Thermal Spraying at Tampere University of Technology in Finland in 2011. In 2019, he completed an MEng in Inorganic Chemistry at the Faculty of Industrial Chemistry and Environmental Engineering at Politehnica University Timișoara. His research interests include laser cladding, thermal spraying, protective coatings, welding technologies, biomaterials, and materials characterization.
