To achieve sustainable development of e-commerce and promote customers’ online shopping conduct, companies develop online shopping platforms to enhance customers’ online shopping behavior. The growing significance of technology in advertising has sparked intense interest in the worlds of education and business to create enjoyable experiences for online clients. Analyzing flow-related states is crucial for generating these experiences. Based on a combined theoretical framework comprising the antecedents of flow, the expectation confirmation model, and the technology acceptance model, this research examines how flow experiences influence the willingness to participate in online purchasing through online shopping platforms, with a focus on Chinese internet users of online shopping platforms. Three hundred internet clients were selected using the convenience sampling technique, and a survey methodology was employed to collect information from internet consumers. Findings from this study suggest that flow had a significant effect on continuous intention, perceived usefulness, and satisfaction. Furthermore, concerning flow’s antecedents, flow was significantly influenced by feedback, perceived enjoyment, and perceived vividness. Moreover, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use were found to have substantial relationships with satisfaction and continuous intention. This research provides significant implications for research scholars and practitioners.

The purpose of this research is to empirically examine relationships between a multi-dimensional set of corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, numerous dimensions of customer trust, and corporate image in an emerging economy. It also analyzes the mediating effect of customer trust on the relationship between CSR and corporate image. This study focuses on two of the most well-known hotel chains situated in Pakistan. Close-ended, self-administered questionnaires were circulated amongst a total of 300 hotel customers. The research data was analyzed using a partial least square-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) model. The results revealed that economic, legal, and ethical CSR significantly impacted corporate image, while philanthropic CSR did not affect the corporate image. However, economic, legal, and philanthropic CSRs were found to be in a significant relationship with customer trust, while ethical CSR was not in a significant relationship with customer trust. Finally, customer trust fully mediated the relationship between economic and legal CSR with corporate image, whereas it partially mediated the relationship between ethical and philanthropic CSR. This study is unique from earlier CSR research based on an assessment of the connection between CSR dimensions and corporate image to examine customers’ trust in an emerging economy, especially in times of crisis.

Built on the integrated theoretical framework of antecedents of flow and expectation confirmation model (ECM), this research investigates the way flow experience drives the online students’ intention to engage in online English teaching platforms. This study focused on the online students engaged in online English learning platforms in Taiwan. A total of 500 online students were selected. An online survey was conducted with the help of a marketing research agency located in Taiwan. According to the results, the online students’ flow experience was found to be in a significant relationship with continuous intention. The antecedents, including perceived enjoyment, challenge, and situational involvement, were found to be in a positive relationship with flow experience; however, confirmation and perceived vividness did not have significant effects on the flow. Furthermore, flow and confirmation were found to be in a significant relationship with perceived usefulness and satisfaction. Moreover, perceived usefulness was found to be in a significant relationship with satisfaction and continuous intention. Lastly, satisfaction was found to be in a significant relationship with continuous intention. Finally, the questions proposed in this research with their empirical findings offer profound understanding for establishing a well-devised online English learning platform that can motivate online learning. These results and managerial implications for online English language platforms are innovative and significant in practice.

As the concept of corporate social responsibility advances, it is crucial to recognize the broad roles of sustainability and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) influencing the implementation of corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives. This research contributes to the expanding field of CSR, sustainable innovation ambidexterity (SIA), sustainable supply chain management (SSCM), and second-order social capital (SOSC). This research produced a theoretical framework based on social exchange theory, social capital theory, and Carroll’s CSP model to investigate the impact of CSR on SIA, SSCM, and SOSC. Furthermore, this study examined the mediating effects of SSCM and SOSC on the correlation between CSR and SIA. Additionally, this study presents a model to explain the impact of SSCM and SOSC on SIA. This study concentrated on top-level managers of several manufacturing businesses situated in Pakistan. A total of 42 manufacturing businesses were chosen utilizing a convenience cluster sampling method. As per the results of this research, CSR was discovered to have a positive impact on SSCM, SIA, and, SOSC. Moreover, SOSC and SSCM were found to be in a significant relationship with SIA. Finally, SOSC and SSCM fully mediated the relationship between CSR and sustainable innovation ambidexterity. This research can guide companies by effectively delivering their finances in CSR initiatives. The findings also suggest that companies should concentrate on improving their CSR initiatives because CSR has a significant effect on SIA. The SDGs provide a road map for companies that can assist them to tactically manage their CSR initiatives according to the international and national sustainable development guidelines. Hence, the CSR–SDG tie is essential for the improvement in the role of CSR in sustainable development. Moreover, to improve and measure SSCM, SOSC, and SIA, policymakers and general managers should devote efforts to CSR.

In recent years, investing in cryptocurrencies has become a fad worldwide. However, fewer studies have explored the intention of using cryptocurrencies. Different from traditional financial commodities, cryptocurrencies have a unique appeal. Therefore, this study uses technology mindfulness, technology readiness, and financial literacy, and through perceived trust and perceived risk, to understand users’ intentions to use cryptocurrencies. The respondents to this study were cryptocurrency owners or those having financial investment experience. A total of 337 valid samples were obtained and analyzed by the partial least square-structural equation model (PLS-SEM) method. The results showed that technology mindfulness and negative technology readiness significantly impacted perceived trust and perceived risk. On the other hand, perceived trust and perceived risk significantly impacted the intention to use. Finally, this study proposes theoretical and practical implications which can help cryptocurrency trading platforms understand the motivations of potential and existing users. Finally, this study can also serve as a reference for cryptocurrency trading service providers to develop marketing strategies.

Value co-creation profoundly affects brand experience, human interaction rules, and customer behavior performance and is a recurring theme in research in the field of virtual brand communities. Studies have determined an influence model for value co-creation, but there is a dearth of research on the impacts of value co-creation activities on brand attachment. This study built a mediation theoretical research framework on value co-creation theory, brand experience, and brand attachment. The purpose of this study is to explore the significance of value co-creation activities on brand experience. Furthermore, this study intends to measure the impact of brand experience on brand attachment. Additionally, this study intends to investigate the mediation role of brand experience in the relationship between value co-creation and brand attachment. This study analyzed 512 data collected by structural equation modeling using registered users of the OPPO community as participants. The results of this empirical test show that the three dimensions of value co-creation (interpersonal interaction, feedback, and advocacy) have a positive effect on brand experience and that brand experience has a positive and significant impact on brand attachment and mediates the relationship between value co-creation and brand attachment. The findings of significance for management are the identification of factors that enhance value co-creation in virtual brand communities. Doi: 10.28991/ESJ-2023-07-04-014 Full Text: PDF
