Dr. Chin Wei Lai is a Professor at the Nanotechnology & Catalysis Research Center (NANOCAT), Institute for Advanced Studies, Universiti Malaya. He completed his PhD studies in Engineering at the Universiti Sains Malaysia and BEng (Hons) in Material Engineering at Universiti Sains Malaysia. He was recently awarded the“Web of Science Highly Cited Paper 2024” and “World's Top 2% Scientists 2024”. His interests include chemically modified/functionalized metal oxide photocatalysts and carbon graphene materials, especially for sustainable development to diversify inclusive science, technology, and innovation in environmental pollution management and energy storage technology.
