Dr. Matteo Fasano is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Energy, Politecnico di Torino. He obtained an M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering (2011) and a Ph.D. degree in Energy Engineering and Nanotechnology (2015) from Politecnico di Torino. His doctoral thesis was awarded the best Ph.D. research award by the Department of Energy, Politecnico di Torino, in 2015, and he was named as the Italian “Young Researcher of the Year” by the ENI Award in 2017. His interests include computational molecular modeling, cooling systems, desalination, heat storage, heat transfer, mass transfer, multi-scale modeling, nanocomposites, nanotechnology, and solar energy.
