Graduated in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Universidad de Antioquia (2014). Currently a Master's student in Biology of Fungi, Algae and Plants at the Federal University of Santa Catarina. She has experience in the area of ​​Chemistry, with an emphasis on Natural Products. Between 2009 and 2013 she worked on projects for chemical and biological characterization of cyanotoxins present in water reservoirs, and the development and formulation of a pharmaceutical form for the incorporation of substances with leishmaniside activity; in the group of Organic Chemistry of Natural Products (QOPN) of the University of Antioquia. Professionally, she has worked mainly on the following topics: Search for bioactive substances and natural dyes of plant species, formulation and development of bioproducts; development processes and analytical methodologies, validation prototypes, physical-chemical analysis, quality control and stability studies of natural dyes in cosmetics and food matrices, handling equipment and instrumental techniques such as HPLC. Currently she is working with the physiology, photobiology and biotechnology of macroalgae.
